A Beetle's Needs
Like all living things, beetles need air, food, water, and shelter. When keeping beetles, make sure the container you keep them in is suitable for the species of beetle you have. Rhinoceros beetles are usually big and highly active. You should keep these in larger containers. Stag beetles are usually smaller and not so active. Breeding Beetles
If your male and female beetles are eating lots of jelly, they are usually ready to breed. When the temperatures are optimal, usually between the 23-27 degrees Celsius mark, you can put your male and female together in the same container. Leave them together for 2-4 weeks. Then, remove the female and place her in an egg laying container. Find out how to do it.
